Shea Moisture Curling Souffle

I have been searching for products to give me definition, moisture, shine and length for my twist outs and braid outs.  I know, that is really a lot to ask from one hair product.  I have been wearing twist outs since taking out my extensions.  I have enjoyed trying new products but due to my daily workout, I end up with damp hair and shrinkage.  Well, today was a totally different story!  I worked out and took down my hair after using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and Curling Souffle on my dry hair (had product in it from the day before).  My hair felt a bit moist before my workout, as if it was not dry, but it was just moisturized hair that I was feeling.  I decided to pick up the Souffle after seeing it on the shelf in Target ($11.99).

I moisturized each section with a finger full of smoothie and then a finger full of souffle.  I added rods to the ends as pictured in the photo but I used less braids for this style.  My hair was dry but moist to the touch.  I wish I had touch-o-vision since I am not even sure how to explain this great feeling.  I have been using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie for a while and I love the smell; however, the cream always left me with dusty looking hair so I stopped using it.

I was able to get second day hair out of this style.  I used my makeshift sue maesta hood (made with pantyhose).  It was not as defined but it was sufficient enough to wear outside on day two.

It’s a very soft hold so I am not sure everyone can get second day hair from this style; however, it smells divine!
