Hair Candy – Flowers in Your Hair

I have been a fan of hair candy for many years.  I didn’t realize where it came from until I lost my great aunt and a request from the family was that we wear a flower in our hair at the funeral, as she often did.  I think a well placed flower in your hair can jazz it up and it also adds an extra touch of femininity to your style.

Here are just a few photos of flowers I have used.  Most of these are real flowers and were found during various vacations but I do also have some synthetic flowers.  You can purchase hair candy at various beauty supply stores but do not forget to stop by your local craft store as well.
