Full Lace Wig – Custom Burmese

I bought a custom, human hair, full lace wig directly from China.  A video is below.

It’s Burmese hair.  I ordered a 12 inch wig with a silk top.  I had used synthetic lace front wigs in the past and once I was comfortable enough using synthetic lace front wigs, I decided to try out a full lace wig with human hair.  I ordered a silk top so I would not have to deal with too many blending problems.  I had blending problems with the synthetic lace front wigs since I was using makeup to hide the lace grid lines.

I had to tint the silk top, which was pretty easy to do using tea. I found videos on youtube showing ways to tint the silk top using tea.  I would not recommend using any kind of dye since you will likely get the dye on the hair of the lace wig.

In case you want the specs, my order was:

Burmese hair processed to be Afro curly

Curls should start as close to root of hair as possible – no loose waves at base of hair

12 inches in length.  Hair Color – (1B)

Lace Type:  Swiss lace (stretch at crown)

clips/combs should be added to the wig

Lace Color:  Brown

Hair density:  light to medium – 80 % at front, 90 % in middle and 100 % in back

Hair Style:  freestyle

Single knots at front hairline, double knots everywhere else

Bleached knots in front and perimeter

Baby Hair at perimeter, reverse ventilation
