WEN Cleansing Conditioner – 1st Wash after the Mini Chop

I was 48 weeks and 1 day post relaxer at this time.  Technically this is the second wash after the mini chop but I did not take many photos of that wash yesterday. I was out of town and just had to try WEN Fig Cleansing Conditioner by Chaz Dean.  It’s basically a cowashing product.  My shrinkage was WAY more than I had thought it would be and I decided to wash again once I got back home.  I rollerset my natural hair and still have some relaxed ends left.

All I used was WEN Fig yesterday to wash and a bit to leave in.  For this wash I used WEN Fig to wash and also as leave-in and a bit of WEN (two pumps) mixed with warm water in my spray bottle to rollerset. Amazingly enough I lost very little hair during the rollerset…..far less than normal. I used about 8 pumps of WEN to wash and 1 pump of WEN as a leave-in. Less pumps of WEN was needed to wash because I have the 9 inch tall bottle (32 oz). I also have Hair One (12 oz bottle/ 4.5 inches tall) and use about 16 pumps of Hair One when I use that product to wash my hair. However, I attribute the lack of hairs in my comb to the mini chop and not just the use of WEN Fig.

If you have not already tried it, I recommend the WEN Cleansing conditioner line by Chaz Dean.  The product is an all in one and can be used for washing, conditioning and a leave-in.
