Roller set Natural Hair – 35 Weeks and 1 day post relaxer

I washed 3 times this weekend and completely understand now why so many ladies chop off the relaxed hair. I never noticed until today how prominent my line of demarcation is in my hair. I had a rough time this weekend trying to detangle. The roots are a breeze with 8 months of new growth but the line of demarcation is a mess. I have no idea why it was such a problem at this stage?

I did a deep condition with ORS and then a moisturizing deep condition with Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose but I did not tie my hair down well enough to air dry so I had a fro the next morning…after using the last of my Sabino Moisture block before air drying. I rewashed but my hair was still not feeling all that great. So I washed again and used a ton of leave in (Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship). Then I decided to rollerset and flat iron the roots.

I did not get salon results but it was an okay flat iron job. I need to get my hands on some more Sabino Moisture Block.
