Less Messy Henna and Indigo Application

I decided to give henna and indigo another try but was hoping for less of a mess.  My new application process (videotaped here): http://youtu.be/8nK3pPLZyp4 is far less mess than my first attempt.  I found that using a color brush helped tremendously with the mess and also with getting better coverage.  I forgot to use vaseline at my hairline but in the end I didn’t need it.

I used a different mix here: 70% henna and 30% indigo.  I am going for a little more brown rather than black.  All in all I prefer this method and will continue to use it.
