First Lady Whole Lace Wig

Janet Collection came out with a lace front wig collection called Whole Lace and I decided to try the First Lady, based on the signature hair style worn by First Lady Michelle Obama.  I had never worn a bob style but was confident that I could pull it off.  I was not really sure what whole lace meant and I could not find many reviews on this wig prior to my purchase, so I bit the bullet and ordered it.

It turns out that whole lace means hand sewn rather than tracks like most of my wigs as well as lace at the nape in addition to lace at the front hair line.  I found this wig to be slightly big.  It bulged at the nape.  However, I am told that I had a tiny head so it probably the user, not the wig.  The wig also has baby hair from ear to ear, which is suppose to help give the appearance of a natural hair line.  Personally, I just leave my own edges out.  I ordered this wig in color #2.  I find that synthetic hair color is a bit darker than human hair so a color #2 in synthetic can, for some brands, look like a 1B in human hair.

The wig had a bit of a tail at the nape, which I cut off.  I was able to wear this style half up and half down as well as loose.  It’s a pretty versatile hairstyle, as evidenced by how First Lady Michelle Obama is able to rock multiple looks.
